# Get transcription job

Get one async transcription job by ID. Poll this endpoint after calling `async-transcribe` until `status` is `completed`, then read the transcription from `result`. Authenticate with the `X-API-Key` header.

## Response shape

One job record with its current status and, once finished, the transcription.

- **status**: `queued`, `in_progress`, `completed`, `failed`, or `canceled`.
- **result**: `null` until the job completes. On completion it contains `text_result` (the transcription), `audio_duration`, and `timestamps` (same timing structure as the synchronous transcribe endpoint). Fields: `text_result`, `audio_duration`, `timestamps`.
- **filename**: The original uploaded audio filename.
- **recognition_config**: The recognition settings the job was queued with: `recognition_model`, `end_of_utterance_silence_ms`, `priority_words` and `priority_words_strength`. Fields: `recognition_config`.

## Authorization

- `X-API-Key` (string, header, required): your workspace API key.

## Path parameters

- `job_id` (string, required): The job ID returned by the async-transcribe endpoint.
