Knowledge bases

Get knowledge base

Returns a single knowledge base by id, including a documents list — each with id, type, status, filename, and created_at. Use this to inspect a KB's contents and track each document's ingestion status. Returns 404 if the KB does not exist in your project.

Document status

Each document moves through the ingestion pipeline:

QUEUED → EXTRACTING → CHUNKING → EMBEDDING → INDEXING → DONE (or FAILED). Only DONE documents are retrievable.
